Bloom Swoon

Springtime in Boston truly feels like a gift after a long winter, particularly a long winter in quarantine. I am feeling inspired by the outside world with the stunning magnolia trees lining the Back Bay neighborhood, and am taking in each bloom as a symbol of hope for brighter days ahead for all. Often times nature inspires our designs, whether it is a fabric, wall covering, or a cushion for an outdoor space that represents nature with a stunning pattern, these details bring us joy in the home, in the same way we find joy and inspiration in nature.

The magnolia trees in Boston, reminded me of the late Manuel Canovas’ Spring 2021 Collection. The colors, and overall joyous feeling his patterns evoke are something that can renew a space almost instantly. I had the pleasure of meeting Manual Canovas in Paris, and am reminded of his designs inspired by the outside world often this time of year.

Spring is truly the season of renewal, and this Spring in particular, shows us that as we have a new and special opportunity for growth.
