Our Story
Rose Ann Humphrey, Founder
Founder of Home Life Rose Ann Humphrey uniquely integrates the design industry, which she knows and loves, with the environments her clients choose.
Rose Ann has been on the forefront of design, working with sustainable and environmentally friendly materials years before it became a trend. She previously owned the only independent Pierre Deux in the country. Pierre Moulin and Pierre LeVec opened the French country furnishings store with Rose Ann in Manchester, Vermont. Moulin and LeVec were the foremost experts in the Style of Provence, making Pierre Deux a name synonymous with French Country décor in America.
Originally from New York City, Rose Ann’s diverse portfolio reflects her design ability to apply the functional principles to whatever project is desired. Her work in the Green Mountains of Vermont, the Southwest in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the hills of LA and her love of the sea and the Maine Coast has influenced her joy in country life although she resides in a city.
Projects include numerous primary residences, and condominium projects in Vermont, LA, Florida, Massachusetts, Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, Maine’s coastline, New Mexico, Bahamas, and a number of reconditioned and new yachts.
Recently venturing into the commercial office building common area redesign, Rose Ann works closely with architects and directly with property owners.
Rose Ann’s tireless effort to people “discovering their own visual voice” keeps her humble and fresh, and always devoted to her discerning clientele.
Rose Ann is one of the Designer’s on Call at The Boston Design Center, as well as a member of IFDA, International Furnishings and Design Association
